This recently happened in our area. Someone was texting while driving and not paying attention. The driver of the offending vehicle did not brake at all, they were on the phone – 100% full impact to this Toyota shown below. The tow truck operator told the victim they were VERY lucky the rear end crumpled like it did or he would have been going out in a stretcher or worse. Don’t text and drive, no matter how temping it is.
